Team

Green Line is being developed by the New England Independent Transmission Company, LLC (NEITC) and The Cianbro Companies. NEITC is a partnership between Anbaric Holding, LLC (www.anbarictransmission.com) and PowerBridge, LLC (www.powerbridge.us). Anbaric Holding, LLC (www.anbarictransmission.com) is closely involved with the development of various energy projects, in­cluding the Neptune Regional Transmission System (“Neptune RTS”) and the Hudson Transmission Project, among others. PowerBridge, LLC (www.powerbridge.us) has managed the de­velopment, financing, and construction of the Neptune and Hud­son transmission projects, and currently manages the operation of Neptune, which was completed in 2007. Cianbro (www.cianbro.com), with over 4,000 team members, has established a service territory which spans the entire United States. With the Corporate Office located in Maine, Cianbro also has offices in the North East, Mid Atlantic, Mid-West, South Central, and South West Regions, in addition to Fabrication and Coating, Deep Water Marine, and Modular Manufacturing Facilities. Ranked #88 on Engineering News-Record’s 2011 Top 400 Contractors, Cianbro is best known for its self-performing capabilities and innovative, hands on construction techniques. Cianbro self-performs Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Fabrication, and Coating, in twelve different markets, throughout the United States.

All the team members worked together on Neptune Project (www.neptunerts.com). Anbaric and PowerBridge are also the principals behind the Hudson Transmission Project (www.hudsonproject.com).

 

 

Industry News

China has begun construction on the world’s largest capacity transmission line. The 800kV high voltage direct current line began on May 13, 2012.  The HVDC line is 1,400 miles long and will carry up to 8,000 megawatts of power.  (Read more…)
